I dont ever remember seeing that seller with the audio file... that would have been a hoot to listen to. But i do remember the sellers, some of whom still do this, with the large, colorful text stating that "the item offered IS NOT A DVD." 

I could swear you posted a link to one of his listings once.

I actually looked him up.  He still has an account but hasn't sold anything for a while.  It was entertaining reading through his negative and even neutral feedback though! 

This was the beginning of the downfall:
Neutral Rating
Buyer: "transaction completed"
Seller: "So Why the Neutral?? Sent on time. Sometimes we feel like just closing up store"

Haha, just came across one regarding DVD's:

Neutral Rating
Buyer: "new at this, expecting DVD not picture, listed under DVD. a lesson to read careful"
Seller: "Was not listed under DVD was listed under POSTCARDS & COLLECTOR CARDS"

Item was "LETTERS TO JULIET DVD MOVIE BACKER CARD"

I think the Backer Cards are what led to his downfall, haha.  Even on the positive reviews you can tell he was past his breaking point:

Positive Review
Buyer: "excellent ebay seller, item just as described, perfect, fast shipping A++++++"
Seller: "THANK YOU WISH EVERYONE WOULD READ THE DESCRIPTIONS BUT I GET BLAMED"

I can just hear his yelling these replies in that voice, haha - "STOP! STOP! STOP!"

Ugh, yeah, I saw at the end of the eBay reviews someone mentioned his order was cancelled by his wife because he died

I did read another article that he had a good sense of humor about his video that went viral, and all of his profits from his backer cards went directly to Cystic fibrosis research/treatment.
