Not 100% sure it's on there but I'm guessing that most artists sign their work. Need to unroll it and check it out.

I love the Evil Dead II quad! Nice score! My two cents....I would have him sign something else and not bother with the linenbacking. Congrats!

Nice that Evil Dead 11. I sold one at auction a couple years ago - wish I hadn't now, and didn't get that good price for it either. Nice you got one.

Always wanted this poster. IMO it's the best Jaws poster around.

Agree... it's another menacing visual, for sure.

The overuse of the original shark coming up from the depths, as well as the same "above the waterline" reincarnations in the sequels, all got to be a bit repetitive and it lost some of its visual punch, imho.

A couple Mexican posters by Espert from 1949. I know nothing of the movies but I really like both images:

Got a load of quads this month, here's a couple.

First one Swiss Army Man have been after for a while, and found one discarded in the store at work.

And new UK Quad for release of Colassal.

Nice pickups, both, Deke and poster art. And to find a discarded quad (or any poster) ready for the trash can, is certainly an added plus.

Deke, the one poster you got is backed. Just curious (this is a general question).. when you have posted various of your new acquisitions that are backed, did you have the work done? Or did you buy them already backed? The work looks really nice, too.

And the artwork is also beautiful on both of these.  mexicohappy.gif

Is that the first time banners have been used like this, as a threesome?

How big are they?  They are usually, currently, 5'x8'.  Maybe the perspective is throwing me off some.

Paul, do you have a pic of the 3 quads side by side, too, by chance? From the brochure image, the set is rather cool looking.

Ah, thanks Paul. In looking again at the brochure, I see that's the banner pictured. My bad - reading.

Both have good eye appeal, too (no pun intended).  thumbup

I like that the banner imagery isn't as cropped, instead showing the interesting. tattoo patterns on her face.

cheers

Yes, you'd have thought they would have done them in 1 sheet format instead of Quad..  odd how the advertising people work.

Ah yes, of course.  The banner display instructions show more detail in the banners.  Nice quads.  Not sure I have seen this before...

as per usual not all these are absolutely hot off the press, but i just cant seem to find the time to take pics of stuff as they come in.

ok well theres 3 french mediums, not in the best of shape, but the price was reflected in that :)

a cheeky little undersized US 1sheet

a LOVELY spanish 1sht with art from Jano. again not in the best shape but it was also cheap.

and a couple of those nazi posters i seem to buy so much of.
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

Big haul there, Sean.

Ive always rather liked this poster image for The Devil's Bride. It has a very 60s feel.  thumbsup.gif

Grabbed this around the 1st. I'm really into several of the 1990s-2000s teen drama's. Right in my pre-teen & teen years. A lot of movies I couldn't even watch till few years later (rated R). Currently working on a rolled Mallrats.

thanks :)
yeah me too, i get the impression now i have this as a medium it may look rather more impressive as a grande?
but on the whole i prefer the smaller format, but i reckon this would look knock out as a biggy.

I agree! That poster in the 1P size would look killer over a fireplace.  devil 2
