One of the greatest films of all time IMO.  thumbsup.gif

You're right you cannot capture the mood of that film today, I also like Le cercle route and the Sicilian clan

And picked up this other Park Circus UK Quad , rare in the fact that its for a new film release and not a classic as mainly Park Circus rerelease classics.

Creepy looking image here, P.A. Very cool.

So is the majority of what Park Circus deals with older films? What % of their distribution would you say is re-release material as compared to new(er) flicks?

HI, The specialise in Classic Movies, cinema masterpieces and digital restoration of prints. Bank them out in a few specialised cinemas and then release on Blueray. I haven't done a full analysis of their releases to do a percentage but I know in the last couple of years then have been releasing a few specialised new European films. So I know that recently the have brought out Certain Women and The Eyes of My Mother (at least). I would hazard at a conservative guess at about 75/80% classic movies.

Of course I could be wrong but certainly I believe they are best known for the classic restorations the have been doing.

If you go hear you can browse through their releases. http://www.parkcircus.com/films

Where'd you get that fantastic Polish Star Wars poster!

And I love that style of La La Land.  Such an awesome movie :)

H

I was told to post some of my new acquisitions more often.  It's been a month or so, so here are a few...  Some a little expensive, some dirt cheap, all fun!  ALL folded or rolled!

US: Postman Always Rings Twice insert, Clockwork Orange OS X Rated, La La Land Bus, Vertigo OS, 6 Sheet, Fearless Vampire Killers 3 sheet, Love in the Afternoon LC set, Funny Face LC set, 2001 LC set...

Australian: En Cas de Malheur Daybill

French: Jules et Jim Medium

German: Lolita A0

Japanese: Alien B1, Guardians of the Galaxy B1

Polish: Star Wars and Jedi

UK: Texas Chainsaw Quad, Halloween Marler Haley Double Crowns (Along with the quad, which I got earlier, I think this is the complete set)

That's all for now.  As usual, there is way more stuff at Eatbrie.com

T
Best regards,
