Nice Jason poster.  I got mine signed by Kane Hodder, who plays Jason in VII, VIII, IX and X.  I didn't know better back then and thought having someone sign my poster was cool and worth something.  I need to get another poster without his signature.

Hey Posterfanatic---such a marvelous first acquisition for the FRIDAY THE 13TH series...and one of the better posters in the series.  Good luck in your first search for the F13 titles.

MATT, I really like your TRADE WINDS poster. Yowza! Those old ones really do it for me. But then I saw the Gloria Swanson lobby cards---WOW! Are those ever cool. Congrats!

Glad to know I'm not missing anything.  It means I'm officially done with the title.  I needed those Marlers and the Halloween 2 B1 I got a month ago to complete the set.  Now I can cross it out.  Same with Texas Chainsaw.  I still needed the LC set and the quad, and now I have them.  In my book, Halloween and TCM are (along with Suspiria) the 3 most important horror flicks of the 70s.

But there are still so many titles to complete.  Alright, back to work.

T

How about the Halloween 'Count-down' quad? Not an inspiring design but would be good to have. You can see it on Ed's site as it's featured in the Halloween advertising guide he's added. It also shows off your Marler Hayley set quite nicely too!

You have  pic of this quad, by any chance, skykackers?

It's on the filmonpaper website, I can't quite work out what the link is but it's one of the new entries. Quite an interesting campaign book.

I can understand why the poster isn't very desirable, like T said, it's just text. Probably a case or rare but not valuable.

I wonder if the lettering on that count down style was various colors of dayglo text against a black background? If so, that could be kind of cool looking.

Not sure, I've never seen one in person. I did notice in my local Supermarket a Rogue One DVD release display featuring the same kind of count down feature though. Good ideas never go out of fashion  :)

Yup. And if vivid, eye catching text against a black background was used, I know I'd notice it.  8)

Nice one, PF.

Was this poster recalled? I seem to remember reading something about that?

There was a version that the knife was bloody and some more dripping blood on the tears that was never printed.

Give it up to Ed to always find the most interesting stuff.  I don't collect press books (used to years ago but threw them all away), but it's good to see what a Halloween display would have looked like.

Interesting, Jason.

How'd you hear or learn about this unprinted poster?

Not really.  1) I'm not willing to spend more than $20 on it and 2) i can't register on your site.  I tried to change my password a few months ago, but it kept refusing every single password i tried.  It wanted something with caps, numbers, !, ?... so I gave up.  If I can't have something simple, it's not for me.

Black back ground, green and white lettering. Seen it once, Bruce sold one in 04'.

Thanks for the description and details about this poster, Dale.

It's a good looking poster, especially with it being an advance, with decided, limited info offered that was meant to entice and (hopefully) draw in the audience. cheers
