Really?  NO ONE has started April yet? GRRR.

Anyway I know I just posted 2 days ago, but I'll have a BONUS post on my thread just a little later today (It's APF April 3rd already). The reason? Well.. Mosey on over there and find out, if you'd like...or don't bother. But it is a special day to me. Here's a sneak peek at what you'll see if you do visit:

I was told to post some of my new acquisitions more often.  It's been a month or so, so here are a few...  Some a little expensive, some dirt cheap, all fun!  ALL folded or rolled!

US: Postman Always Rings Twice insert, Clockwork Orange OS X Rated, La La Land Bus, Vertigo OS, 6 Sheet, Fearless Vampire Killers 3 sheet, Love in the Afternoon LC set, Funny Face LC set, 2001 LC set...

Australian: En Cas de Malheur Daybill

French: Jules et Jim Medium

German: Lolita A0

Japanese: Alien B1, Guardians of the Galaxy B1

Polish: Star Wars and Jedi

UK: Texas Chainsaw Quad, Halloween Marler Haley Double Crowns (Along with the quad, which I got earlier, I think this is the complete set)

That's all for now.  As usual, there is way more stuff at Eatbrie.com

Nice stuff, T.  I dropped out when I saw your bid on Funny Face.  Knew I wouldn't compete, so decided not to run up the price for you.  Should leave the field open for me next time :)

BEAUTIFUL haloween set!!! like them LOTS!

I'm cheating a bit here as ive had these 2 posters YEARS, but only just pulled them out to photgraph, the tube they arrived in had been submerged under water! when i opened the plastic tube water came out! needless to say i had to be SUPER careful with them from that point on. obviously the rarest of them recieved the worst damage. although i have to say flattening them out for a few years has done wonders for them :D
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

Sean, those look in really good condition for them having been "moisturized" all that time.  thumbsup.gif

How did the tube get submerged?

Zowie, Sean! Love those Nazisploitation posters, especially the first. You did a fine job "saving" them.

i dont actually have any idea how they got dunked? i have a feeling that the post office monkeys saw a plastic tube and thought................ "how can we ruin this?" and proceeded to throw it in the bath? at this point i hadnt bought too many posters on ebay, and hadnt sold at all, so didnt know how finicky you can be on there. the seller did an EXCELLENT job of packaging as the posters were also in a plastic bag inside the plastic tube. but all this did was keep in lots of water! the seller was also less than helpfull when i told him he just kept saying i had to make a claim, which was obviously BOLLO! anyway i gave up and left it, which i wouldnt these days. i would make the post office PAY FOR IT!
both posters still have a little rippling, but the salon kitty had some suface lift off when i seperated the posters mostly on the left column at the top and a couple of other smaller areas, but i guess its still worth the $50 i paid for it? as it dosnt seem to crop up much.
I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

Yes, it's true, I do not collect Daybills.  Not a fan of the format, and not a fan of designs portraying actors and actresses I do not recognize.  But I do make an exception when it comes to my little niche collections.

I agree with you there, T. Nothing worse than when someone is not only unrecognizable, but has also been hit with the ugly stick or drawn with what looks like a 7 year old's hand. Especially beautiful actresses.  uhno

But Bardot looks to have been spared that fate on most of yours.

While I'm here, and photobucket isn't being a pain, I have a few to share.

Amityville Quad Folded

Fly Quad Rolled

Fly Polish Rolled

Carrie Turkish Rolled

Scanners Double Crown Folded, sorry for the junk photo. The poster is super Dayglow bright. It actually hurts your eyes if you look at it too long.

Last, but not least. A big thanks to Matias for the Halloween ARG OS folded!!!

CHRIS!  Zowie! You go MIA for a while and come back with a super nice pile o' goodness! I love the Turkish CARRIE the best. Such a creepy look in her face. I'm also digging the quads and the Argentinean HALLOWEEN. I've never seen one before. The others are groovy too. Bravo!

Thank you both very much. Been busy with work and life. I am still hammering away at the horror block, getting close to 200 now.
The ARGOS Halloween is one off the list for Halloween. Getting close to a full ART set for Halloween. Now to convince T to send me that new Halloween set of his...... waiting1
