It was bound to happen, damn.

Purchased a Kong skull island poster and was excited to get it and then BAMMMMMM, damaged. At first I was pissed, thinking that the tube was weak and packaged incorrectly but after checking it out further I realized it was good and just happened to be bad luck. It was probably king Kong haha

Yup, practically split in half. Ruined my morning, but I feel like had a good run. I feel like I haven't had a poster damaged in years if at all to be honest.

Ah the Fragile sticker for what ever reason when i see one of those on a tube my poster inside is surely damaged - never see them stuck on a gorilla tube.

Send it to poster heaven and get a refund - then re buy  - I have been down that road a few times

Best of luck with your next purchase

Has the seller replied back to you, AJ?

And was this a regular thickness tube? Or more the gorilla-proof, Yazoo Mills kind?

Even the best of packaging can succumb to damage sometimes, especially where giant apes are involved  :)

The seller should offer a refund or an exchange even though technically they did nothing wrong. It's just solid customer service.

So how does the seller make an insurance claim?  Does buyer need to send damaged tube back to him, or just pics, is the damaged tube inserted in a bigger tube to ensure it gets to him safely, does seller need to destroy the poster or show it on fire to get the cash out?

Yeah, the seller is gonna send me a new one in a day or two.
I'm also buying another poster from them as well.

That's mine, yes a replacement will be in route tomorrow.

More info than I want to give any competition, but... my tubes are custom cut to size and wound thicker than any stock 2" tube on the market, so short of shipping in PVC there is not stronger tube you will ever get in the mail than what I send out.
