Erich Meerwald

Erich Meerwald (1895 - 1973) was an artist & designer for pre-war stamps, after the war he also created some quite nice poster designs. I have about 25, I don't think he made a lot, 50-100, maybe less.

no comments... well I'll few more anyway... The HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY is among my Top 10 posters, it is the only copy I ever saw, heard of or came across (withdrawn first poster, different title, different design).
