Finallly found some time to take some pics and my son helped me set them up.  Some of them are darker, some are lighter, than they actually look in real time.  Not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination.  I also had to use magnetacks to hold them down.  Since the magnetack bases are about an 1/8" high, I couldn't get them to lie completely flat so there were undulations in some of them, resultin gin strips of "glare".  Anyway, these should give you a good ideas of how good Dan and his team are at what they do.  Top notch stuff.

When you are in the post window, click on the little image icon to the right on the "f" in the red circle. That will give you the image tags. Then just paste your image url in between them.

John, over what period, or length of time, were all of these posters worked on by Dan and his team?

Good morning Erik.  I assume your question is directed at me (it's Carlos).  I gave these to Dan as part of different batches of posters that I have provided to him since, I believe, early 2015.  I actually first met him in the fall of 2014 and provided him with some theatre posters that are currently hanging on my daughter's wall.  I normally give him anywhere from two to seven posters at a time, all different sizes (from a German A1, to a Thierry hates "French Grande", to 3-sheeters), and in different conditions.  I will usually receive the batch back from him within three to six months.  He's not as quick on the turnaround as Poster Mountain, but his work is fantastic and I've been extremely happy with it and his customer service as well.  I highly recommend him.

Hi Carlos - do you have any 'before' pictures of these posters?

Hi Carlos - do you have any 'before' pictures of these posters?

When I have some time, I'll see if I can find any, or maybe even links to them on the sites I purchased them.  I'll have to check my records to see when I bought them.  I do know that the "Von Ryan's Express" was in pretty bad shape.  The "Ben-Hur" poster was also pretty rough.  If/when I find "before" images, I'll post them for you.

Here's a 3-sheeter that I gave Dan to work on.  When he's done, I'll post the "after" shot.

That didn't work.  Here's the direct link:

And this was the "Ben-Hur" poster "before" Dan worked on it:

Great info Carlos. Thanks for offering that. My mistake for calling you John.  Doh.gif

As far as the picture posting, use the actual URL of the photo itself (it will end in .jpg or .jpeg) and paste that between the image tags. Then your image will show up.

And I'm Jeff.  :D

Carlos, this Belgian is really nice. The backing job looks really good, too, Dan.  thumbsup.gif  Was much done to this poster? Or was it more a straight forward backing job?

And Maureen O'Hara looks as beautious, as always.

And i just watched this brief clip you made and have on Vimeo. You certainly have seen and worked on a wide variety of posters and genres, that's for sure.

Looks like you were given a double feature poster to work on here, Dan.  ;D
