Thanks Chris.
I watch the original Nosferatu every few months -- never tire of it.

Just received a few lobby cards from Peter at Movie Poster Exchange.
I missed last night's auctions -- darn it all.

Nice pickups, Ted.

I have a couple of scene cards for Little Egypt, but your title card puts them to shame.  I never saw that one go by, which likely avoided a war.

I got sniped out of several items last night.  Thought I had comfortable margins and it was as high as I would have gone anyway.  One frustration with Peter's auctions is that he hides the bid history once the item closes.  I'd really be interested in knowing whether I was sniped by someone I was bidding against or by a new player.

Still, I managed to pick up several nice cards, including these

Nice cards, Jay.
That Bullfighters with Stan and Ollie was on my watch list.
Glad it went to a good home.
 cheers

I've tried to focus my collection exclusively on one sheets for a little while now, but this Thai NOES came up as trade bait and I decided to grab it.

I don't have many LC, but these three title cards are really great, Ted. Super imagery, imho. Seeing these could change my collecting mind, though.

Congrats on snagging them. cheers

Thanks, Jeff.
Over the years I sold most of my lobbies (several thousand), but watching Dr. Bill's thread got me back into the biz.

Also, Aliens daybill arrived a few days ago. Wish this version had the "This time it's war" tagline, but still love this one.

Hmm, maybe because of the frame? Poster is 13.25" wide I think.

I think the angle of the pic makes it look wider, too.

Wondering how tall is this daybill? It doesn't look right to me either?! Though I have seen photos that squash vertically.

Liking the Little Egypt Ted

The wide, white border on the daybill, along with the black frame also are adding to the illusion. The Robt Burton printer's info sure looks the same, too.

Looks mighty fine, Ray. Nice score.

Thanks guys. It's justttt over 26" high. I took it on a bit of an angle to avoid the glare at the time of day. Guess that threw it off haha.

The daybill size is great though. I only have room to display a few one sheets, so I will have to look at getting more of these.

Aren't the US inserts 36" high? Or did the aussie ones used to be higher?

Zowie! It looks like it's been a busy day!

Glad to hear you are rediscovering your lobby card passion. All are very nice, but that LITTLE EGYPT is my fave. Superb!

Golly Jay!  An AFRICAN QUEEN card with both BOGART and HEPBURN. Score-a-rama!

I'm telling you, this is further evidence we were separated at birth or I'm your long-lost baby daddy! (Scary!) Congrats!

Someone on the board was nice enough to reach out and sell their rolled F13 to me. (After reading about the confusion and back and forth I had with movieposter.com)

Anyways, thanks so much! This was always the first original poster I wanted to get.
