Ernst Litter (1918 - 2006) studied at the Berlin art school, there he was a student of
Jupp Wiertz, a legend in pre-war "commercial art" who was awarded 1st price twice at the
Conseil Central du Tourisme International in Paris. (Sadly he passed away age 50 in 1939, by blood-poising, after he had injured himself while working with paint...)
Litter was active from 1946 until the late-60s. Approx. 600 posters, foremost for German distributing companies like Gloria, Schorcht & Constantin, but also Columbia Pictures...
