Do You Collect Movie Posters?

well of course you do, otherwise, why would you be here

I have been a dealer and collector of comics & posters for 50 years. Collecting since 1962, selling since 1966
As a collector, I know what collectors want.
As a dealer, I know what collectors want

Every week I run an auction from my website www.mpb.auction

As always, your Dollars Go Further on MPB.auction than in other places
We don't have 24 Employees
We don't have Buyer's Premiums
We don't have Big Egos to support!

What we do have are Cool Posters for Collectors
We have Friendly Customer Service
We have Accurately Graded Posters
We have Flat Rate Shipping in the USA
We have great packaging, sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of handling by chimpanzees, apes or gorillas
(admittedly, I don't think anyone has a package that can withstand King Kong himself.... so King Kong is excepted, should our packages come into contact with the big lug)

And what else we have? Many of the Best Bargains available in the movie poster hobby. Visit this link and see what we've been selling. Our sold database is fully searchable (though please note, it only has the sales since we started with the new website as getting the 120,000 sold listings from the old site will take some doing)
http://www.mpb.auction/auction/?ua-listing=sold

MPB.auction is the step-child of MoviePosterBid.com
MoviePosterBid.com is the First All-Movie Poster Auction Website.
When others were still doing auctions on eBay, starting in 2004, we were doing our own auctions, starting a full weekly auction in 2006. We took a different tack in 2014, but now we are back to regular weekly auctions. Come on by, enjoy the fun and for gosh sakes, don't let 'that other collector' get the poster you want!

Rich in your promo here, you mention that you've been collecting since 1962 and selling since '66.

What were you first collecting as a kid?

And selling -- what kinds of items were you first offering for sale?

comic books in the beginning and old newspapers. I got my first posters when I was 10 and still have one of those

when I started selling, it was all comics, but it wasn't long before I added other stuff.

Who does great package? We Do!!

I had a package go missing a while back and tracking had shown it was delivered.so after doing the easy research (looking at the shipment) the buyer realized he had given me his old mailing address and had to figure out what to do. A few days later, he wrote me back....

Hi, Rich! This morning I received a call from the gentleman who is now living at the first location we moved to in Virginia. He said that he had been out of town for almost 3 weeks, and found a package addressed to me on his front porch. He said it was soaking wet and the box was beginning to fall apart. I drove over to the place, about 20 miles from here, and there it was. I took it to my car to open  it. The box was literally  falling apart from the soaking it had taken. I opened the box, and the cardboard holding the items together was also soaking wet. I cut it open with my pocketknife. I opened the plastic, and, miraculously they were all dry. If they hadn't been sealed in plastic, all would have been lost. I was so happy that they survived after all the hardships they had been through. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know this story had a happy ending. (name withheld)

Even Mother Nature can't kill my packages!

Maybe it's time you got over to MPB.auction and join in!
