Tissue paper vs MicroChamber Paper
« on: January 28, 2017, 07:50:12 PM »
Hello all,

While storing film posters in a Museum POSTER Storage Box im under the understanding that it would be good to separate the posters with something. I've come across tissue paper and just now i found Microchamber paper.  Which do you think would be the best option of the two or can you suggest something better.

Tissue:

Microchamber paper:

thanks

From what I read previously, the micro chamber paper is supposed to be better because it removes and neutralizes the acids in the paper, thus the significant increase in cost. But higher end foam boards do the same as well( neison bainbridge artcare).

However, I think I read somewhere on one of the comic book forums that it should be swapped out every xx amount of years. I think....

The Microchamber is interesting. It would be easier to handle than tissue paper and a bit sturdier?
I looked around in hopes of finding a better price but came up empty.
