Good 27x41 Frame
« on: January 26, 2017, 08:20:38 PM »
Hello all,

I still haven't gotten a 27x41 frame and now i want at least one. I hate having all my lovely posters and not a single one framed for viewing. When i look at amazon for frames they all seem to be at least 50 dollars and they tend to have mixed reviews. Can someone suggest to me a good frame. I just want a good sturdy frame that will not damage my posters.

I don't really have a good idea of what that should cost, I hoping to find one for under a hundred dollars.  I'd love some advice from someone more experienced.

Thanks in advance
D.

hollywoodposterframes.com

For frames made with archival quality materials, they can't be beat on price.

Yes, you can find cheaper frames out there but your posters might eventually suffer from browning due to acids in the backing board, or premature fading if the glazing doesn't block UV rays.

Though be aware that even with UV plexiglass, you should still avoid light exposure as much as you can (direct sunlight is always a no-no).

I will recommend both, Spotlight Displays and Hollywood Poster Frames. Both are extremely professional and provide great products. The only difference is, and please correct me if I am wrong, Spotlight is wall mounted snap frames and HPF are wire hung.  Again, I have purchased from both Robert and Susan and have been very happy.

Thanks for the thread.  I was also in the same position needing a good 27" x 41" frame.  I am sure the HPF is very good, but I opted for the Spotlight frame.  I mounted it to the wall today and love it.  It is a very well constructed frame, and the snap change will be great to swap out posters, as I plan to change them from time to time.
