Frame Ikea model Stromby

Hello everyone.
What I'm going to ask may be crazy and foolish.
Find an Ikea frame Stromby model measures 27.5 "× 39", aluminum frame and glass front, the rear does not know what material it is. It's a retired model.
I can put posters here or they will spoil.

For a US 1-sheet size 39 inches will be too short.

Also plexiglass/acrylic should be strongly preferred to glass, both because of heat transfer and condensation issues, as well as risk of breakage.

I haven't looked at the specific frame, but based on your description it sounds like it would not be a good choice.

I am from Spain and here the posters are of that measure fit perfectly. For the rest you must be right although the aluminum frame looks very resistant to hold the glass.
