Thanks, kind gents. I agree with you both. The facial image of Bergman is what truly grabbed my eye, too. I love the subtle colors in her face, pale yet with a vividness that works quite well. Plus the image is very spot on. And that always is a plus.  :)

Yessir..that's the plan. I need a frame first, tho.  girly2.gif

It measures about 24x33, so just a little bigger on the length, than the standard European A1 size of 23x33.

Another recent arrival. A rolled, US OS for the The Outing (1987). This another flick that I've never seen, and not even familiar with, but the artwork by Drew Struzan totally caught my eye, especially this style with the creature hovering over the group of kids, and arms wrapping around them. I'm really digging the face of that critter of horror. And Struzan's use of light and shadow on the kids' faces is done so well, too. It looks as though they are being illuminated with a flashlight or something similar. And brilliantly done with the artist's hand. No photo-imagery.

There is another very similar style, also by Struzan, with the same group of teens, but no monster -- just sky overlaid with text.

The film opened in the UK initially, with the title, The Lamp, but was changed when it opened in the US. Reading the brief synopsis on wikipedia, this flick is another that sounds like a dud, but the poster is very cool, imho.

(Again, the piece of overlaid plexi that's missing a corner created that odd line in the upper left corner of the poster).

My first two German posters; The Conversation, and The Long Goodbye. The condition seemed nearly too good to be true when I first opened the package, but I took the magnifying glass to them, and everything checks out as far as I can tell. Just hard to believe, as they look *perfect*.

Nice LONG GOODBYE poster here, motsm.  thumbsup.gif  It looks like the artist signed it. Any idea what that name is?

Here is a new art print I picked up for, Nocturnal Animals. It's not my usual taste, but fell in love with it the first time I saw it and knew I had to pick one up. The juxtaposition of the imagery is subtle and striking at the same time.

The print was commissioned by Focus Features for Tom Ford's film. The art is by 'Midnight Marauder,' a french born artist who has done graphic design for movie posters for Terrence Malick, Cohen Brothers, P.T. Anderson, and more. This 24x36" print is signed and numbered, #1/20.

Indeed, though he mimicked the Elliott Gould portrait from Vic Flair's one sheet. I still prefer the Avelli poster overall.

I haven't seen Nocturnal Animals yet, but that is gorgeous, Chris. When you mentioned Malick, I knew he must have been the artist who did this Knight of Cups poster that I've always liked. http://www.impawards.com/2015/knight_of_cups.html

Jeff That Outing is a great poster, too bad the movie sounds like a flop.
Chris Have you seen Nocturnal Animals yet? That is a great pick up.

I don't share very often, so how about a few from me....

Most of you already know I love Resident Evil. Except the last 2 movies, I hope this one will allow the franchise to retire with dignity.

Horror Block

Don't think these need explaining.....

Animated Block for my little one....I enjoy these films too though.

Not the greatest condition, but I had to have it......

Love the art on this polish.....

Midnight Marauder's work is interesting.  Congrats on the win there, C9k.  Did you just email him and ask him about prints?

Ginger, nice haul.  The Ghost in the Shell is my favorite among them.   cool1

Happy Friday the 13th!  In honor of this infamously unlucky day, I have a bonus post I am moments away from putting up on my thread. Here is the usual sneak peek/teaser for it.

SHAUN OF THE DEAD:

BLACK SHEEP (British Quad):

THE STEPFATHER:

Watch out for black cats in your path, don't walk under ladders and beware of strange men in hockey masks.

CHEERS!

Yes ---I'd like to see it. Is it the one with Simon Pegg surrounded by zombies in the windows of a subway car? Or something else?

I still don't understand how Black Sheep didn't win any academy awards. I actually can't get my wife to watch it any more after the first time and she's the B horror fan.

Nice pickups.

Motsm: Thanks! You nailed it on the Tree of Like poster. I'm a big fan of his graphic work on that one as well. Have you seen the film? I'm looking forward to giving it a watch.

Chris: Good to see you back around buddy. Appreciate the compliment.

Neo: They are available commercially, but I had a hard time tracking them down so I did reach out to him via a social media platform and he pointed me in the right direction. Super nice fella.

Thank you, UNDEAD. Glad you like them.

RICH the International SHAUN poster is cool. Lucky that you have one. And, by the way, swanky Ocean's 11 insert.
