Def-Con 4: I remember this VHS cover vividly at the mom & pop video store we got our rentals from as a kid. The movie is pretty bad, but this art is iconic for me.

This and Deep Star Six... Love this poster!

Well finally managed to get a couple sets of these Minions wildings.
Love the art they used. Especially Pollock, Warhol, and Van Gogh.

CHRIS, I somehow did not see your posting until CHARLIE referred to it. Nice stuff. It could almost be part of my collection. So glad we have similar tastes.

JASON, so glad you are still in the poster game. (Nice additions---very cool, by the way.) For a while i thought you might be bowing out.

The poster itself includes the frame and the date below it. It is hard to see but there is a white border all around the frame and below.

I love those Minions posters. Are they the same size as Thierry's set (bus shelter size) Jason or are they one sheet size?

Happy (almost) February!  There's about to be a new post on my thread (once APF midnight strikes) of odds and ends. I thought I'd post the usual sample now at the END of January instead of hogging the first spot at the beginning of February. I'm sure someone else will have something more interesting to share and would like to start the February thread. Anyway--here are the lesser (in my opinion) posters from my Feb. 1st post.

HOW TO SUCCEED WITH GIRLS:

TOBACCO ROODY:

THE WIZARD OF OZ (video):

Cheers!

Steve, I had a feeling this poster would speak to you. When I post it on my thread, there is a  little note for you.

What's interesting with the image of Margaret Hamilton used on this poster is that this was how she appeared in the footage that first (and then fired) director Richard Thorpe shot. When the re-shoot began, Hamilton's look was redone, with added nose and chin latex appliances and her hair pulled up, all to give her that more sinister, "witchy" look.

And a Nice artistic rendition on this poster.  thumbsup.gif
