In past Latest Acquisitions threads I have posted a few propaganda posters by Mexican artist Alberto Beltrán.


I was recently fortunate to acquire a lot of original political cartoon artwork by Beltrán. While these aren't posters, and they are not exactly propaganda, this seems like the most appropriate section to share them.  They date from 1959-60.  Unfortunately, the original artwork doesn't include the captions so sometimes the political message isn't entirely clear.  At some point I may be motivated enough to track down the publications in which they appeared.

Anyway, I love the artwork!
