Artcare acid free core in a Spotlight frame
« on: November 02, 2016, 03:21:26 PM »
Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here has used the Artcare acid-free foam core in a Spotlight frame.  If so,, what thickness would you recommend?  My appreciation, inadvance for your comments.

Hello Ba517401, I was waiting for someone to chime in but probably not a lot of people using the Foam-Core on here with my frames?

Our standard border frame comes ready to accept thicknesses up to 1/8" we can make the frame accept up to 1/2" thickness.

Our Wide Border frames come standard to handle up to 1/4" thickness and that's it.

I've never used it and hopefully someone will chime in.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Robert for the reply.  I was thinking 3/16 or the 1/8 core.
BTW I sent you a pict of the poster in the frame...looks good.  1941 Belle Starr, style B

You'll have to forgive me; did I respond? I can't find or remember the pic.

That thickness would be fine in the Wide Border. 1/8 might just work in the Standard Border.
