Man, I've been watching way too much this month...
Yesterday I watched The Shining (the 1997 TV miniseries), which I enjoyed more now then when it first premiered.
Besides, it co-stars Rebecca De Mornay, who I think is just drop-dead gorgeous and very talented.

Then, it was Goke, Body Snatcher From Hell (1968).
It had a few interesting SPFX, but... let's just say if Ed Wood Jr. was Japanese, this is the idiotic mishmash he would've made.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/Kh2mvH9QFqY" target="_blank" class="new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/Kh2mvH9QFqY</a>

Then, it was The House that Dripped Blood, starring Christopher Lee and Ingrid Pitt (amongst others) and the Evil Dead remake.

Thanks for posting the GOKE: BODY SNATCHER FROM HELL trailer. I've had the poster (combo-ed with BLOODY PIT OF HORROR), but had never seen the movie or really knew anything about it.

NOT a movie---but I just started watching season 1 of ASH VS THE EVIL DEAD, which is a sequel to the original films...if that counts at all.

I'd only seen stills from Goke up until last night, not even that trailer.
I wanted to like it but it was a bit too silly and melodramatic at the same time.
Its an odd bird and worth a watch if you're a true psychotronic.
 cheers

Crap---it's not available on video aside from PAL. I'll track it down eventually.

Thanks TED.

Thank you BOTH for the info. I may opt for the DVDs. I get antsy watching movies on the computer...  But both of you saved my movie day! Hooray!

So, Dracula (58), Elviras Haunted hills, I know but it is Halloweeny.     And again couldn't wait any longer, Dance of the Vampires...

Great minds think alike, Paul.
Last night I too watched Dance of the Vampires (aka Fearless Vampire Killers) and I enjoyed it now more than ever before.

I also watched Return of the Living Dead, one of my all-time favorites.
A great double-feature, indeed.

Just finished ZOMBIELAND, which gets funnier each and every time I watch it.

Last night I watched The Brain that Wouldn't Die (1962), a film that's so bad its great!
And The Seventh Victim (1943) a tale about Greenwich Village satanists. Well played but uneventful.

The other day I watched something called "THE AMITYVILLE TERROR". While not as god-awful as AMITYVILLE DEATH HOUSE or THE AMITYVILLE HAUNTING, it was still not very good--but watchable. Not long after seeing it, I was made aware of another new Amityville flick called THE AMITYVILLE LEGACY.  What a piece of crap. My first clue should have been its availability. It wasn't available anywhere except as an online experience. I hate watching movies online. I needed a DVD. I went on the movie's facebook page and saw a link to buy a copy (and it was autographed. Ooooo. whatever...). I did--but the DVD is just a generic DVD-R without any sort of label. Ha! Just garbage. The acting is awful. The writing and directing even worse. The movie is 70 minutes long with 12 of those minutes being very slow credits at the end. The meat of the movie, those remaining 58 minutes , were some of the LONGEST minutes of my movie watching life. Just bad. BEWARE!

Here's the trailer:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/LGPHTzhV5iM" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/LGPHTzhV5iM</a>

Aside from this, I discovered several other Amityville movies coming our way. EEEK!  AMITYVILLE: THE VANISHING and AMITYVILLE: NO ESCAPE are out now. AMITYVILLE: EXORCISM and AMITYVILLE: THE AWAKENING come out next year. Others announced include AMITYVILLE HIGH, RETURN TO AMITYVILLE, THE AMITYVILLE CREDO, AMITYVILLE: THE BEGINNING, and--believe it or not--THE AMITYVILLE BULLDOZER.  Talk about beating a dead horse...
