STOLEN POSTERS - PLEASE READ

The following three linenbacked and freshly restored posters were stolen during transit through either the USPS or Canada Post mail service between August 15-22, 2016.  I would greatly appreciate contact via private message or e-mail or even a forum post should you believe you have been offered the posters or spotted them for sale/auction in the future.  Again, I am indebted to anyone who may be able to assist in their recovery:

Chris, were your posters traveling back to you from the US? Sounds like it but was wanting to make sure. Hope there has been some news or any little bit of info that might help to get this solved and the posters back to you.

I held my breath for a second, when, just looking on ebay, I saw this LB copy of The Lost Weekend being offered for sale. I was looking for small details/anomalies specific to yours that might be shown on this copy, too (or not).

No news...as was expected unfortunately.  Yes they were traveling back from the US.  Thanks for posting the auction Jeff but that seller has had that particular copy for sale for a very long time so it cannot be my copy...

And on closer inspection of the 2 images, I could see an area of slight variation between the 2 copies and figured it also wasnt yours.

Ted and I had this happen a few years ago with a poster he sent me.  The tube came in empty, and the schmuck that took it did not even bother to try and hide the evidence. I was so in shock, I disbelievingly looked into the empty tube as I shook it upside down waiting for something to materialize from the emptiness.  Now that I think of it, this sounds more like the story of my mid-life sex life than a story of poster theft

Sadly nothing to report Jeff   The USPS Inspector General has been contacted but still not holding out much hope.

Unfortunately, nothing new to report Jeff.  I would appreciate anyone who is so inclined to continue to keep an eye out for these three titles.

Bruce has an African Queen up but on close comparison it sadly does not appear to be my copy...

If so, did USPS pay you off in a timely fashion?

Same old story Jeff - radio silence.  Quite perplexing that not one of the three has appeared to have surfaced anywhere. 

I knew the second I grabbed the tube from the front door and saw the open end that the chances of a happy outcome were extremely remote
