I recently saw that same lenticular somewhere...fairly reasonably priced, if I recall. I was unfamiliar with the movie, so passed. Good for you for scoring one though.

Thanks man. It was only $15 and I sold my previous one for $400 a couple years ago so it worked out very well.

some nice things in this month for sure!
picked up a couple of quads for an amazing movie.
odd the distributor would print 2 DS posters for a film that would get such a small run.
also odd the designs are so similair. to be honest im getting quite used to posters for movies that have such a limited release to print digital quads.
although im quite glad they are litho :D

I don't know much, but i do know what my eyes are telling me!

Unfamiliar with this film, so I had to find the trailer.
Now, I've got to see the film.

Even more subtle were the differences between Campaigns C and D for the US 1 Sheets for Die Another Day.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIE-ANOTHER-DAY-MOVIE-POSTER-2-Sided-ORIGINAL-FINAL-JAMES-BOND-27x40-DS-/331908771657?hash=item4d474def49:g:9IQAAOSwRgJXh8bw

The second in is a YUGO poster but I have both in English language.

Some bullet reverberations and slight sifting of ice blocks, I can see which different demographics they were trying to capture with these two posters...

they just seem to be different versions of the same design, which does happen from time to time as im sure you know. but the big difference is the size of the audience of the movies, that 007 would have gone to every multiplex at the time, where as EOFTS didnt show in any multiplexs and barely was shown in independants. some odd choices being made somewhere?

Nice pick ups, Sean and Paul.

Those Neon Demon posters are eye grabbing, Sean and Paul, I really like the art and design on Gideon's Day. Great color and I like the animated design.  thumbsup.gif

The condition on this one isn't great, but it was cheap and I like the artwork. Especially whatever is going on down there in the lower left corner!

"Cárcel de mujeres" means "Women's Prison".

Yes, interesting poster! thumbup
Not sure how a bandage sticks to the top lady's hair, nor why there is an Asian looking baby, or why Michael Jackson is eating a face.

At least they are holding hands while the biting is going on. Nothing says, "I love you" bed1  like....

oh wait.

But it has some interesting imagery, that's for sure. Any idea who the artist is, Deke?

Wow! Hot month for posters--figuratively and literally!
Teamweapon: I am in LOVE with that German NEON DEMON.

Paul: nice batch---particularly THE LAST SUNSET and FANTASTIC BEASTS. OOooo...

Deke: Cool poster...but instead of Michael Jackson, it looks like an outtake from GONE WITH THE WIND where an uber-jealous and crazed Scarlett is biting Olivia De Havilland's face over her insane obsession with Ashley Wilkes.

Baseman: I dig the PULP FICTION set. I've not seen those before I don't think.... Groovy.

Here are a few from my recent post--which i usually do one the 1st and 15th...but I'm late a day. Nothing too exciting. Here's a small sample of some of the schlock:

STAR CRYSTAL:

This just SCREAMS crap-a-rama "ALIEN" ripoff. I've never seen it or heard of it. I hope it's wonderful in a bad movie kind of way (instead of just tediously boring and lame). Cool cheesy poster none the less...

1990: THE BRONX WARRIORS:

Speaking of ripoffs, here's a great MAD MAX/ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK hybrid clone. Fun poster. I never saw the flick, but it looks like a potential grindhouse classic.

DRIVE IN:

While NOT a ripoff, the on-screen movie in the regional 70s comedy DRIVE IN spoofs the disaster movies of the era in a(brilliant) fictional film called "DISASTER '76" (My favorite part of the movie. I wonder if there were fake posters made for it--I don't remember as it's been years since I saw the movie--but if they did make them, I wonder where they are now? I'd LOVE one).

Keep 'em coming. August is only HALF over.

CHEERS!

I dont know this flicker, either, but I really like the poster. The alien creature has some awesome, wicked, sharp teeth, that's for sure.   thumbup

I had not heard of it either, and was thus moved to look it up.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092006/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

None of the cast have images by their names and the one review slams it.  Oh dear.

Cool poster though.

Ha! I knew it was probably a piece o' crap-a-rama as i originally stated. Just shows you that sometimes the poster is better than the movie. Glad you guys liked it. Cheers!
