Thanks Mark.

Want to see something really scarce....?

Try finding one of these...

Picked it up a while back, just took a pic recently.

What's the story on this poster? I have what I guess would be considered the regular UK one sheet with the orange color in the sky and around the Wicker Man, and without the "chilling programme" text.

I am guessing it was for a special screening, but where and when?

Those UK 1shts are from the 74 showing of the film, after they realised how popular it was. Prior to that it was released twice in 73, an unofficial release that was stopped after a very short time, and the first official release as a second/supporting feature with Don't look now, which is what this poster is from.  It's a Double Crown by the way..

Its a cool poster, Paul.  thumbup

And I have to confess that I've never seen the movie. But with all this "Wicker" talk lately, I've for sure added it to my watch list.

Cool! Thanks for the detailed information.  I can only imagine this poster is beyond rare. I will content myself with my one sheet  ;)

Yes! Watch it, and try to go in as "cold" as possible (i.e. don't read up on the plot. Though I guess the poster does give a bit away).

The poster (to me, anyhow) doesnt reveal anything really, about the plot or story. So I think that's good.

To be honest, when I saw the Wicker Man figure on the poster, it made me think of the Burning Man event that's held out in the Nevada desert every year.

So my viewing of the flicker will truly be "stone cold;" I really have NO clue what the story or film is about.

Zowie! I've missed so much. I've just been so busy. Sooo many groovy things posted. Great job everyone. My faves were the Raquel Welch FATHOM and the WICKER MAN everyone was talking about. I've never seen the movie either, but have always wanted to...and to quote Ari:

OOPS! I forgot to mention thank you to Jeff and CJ138 for their props on the Thai EVIL DEAD and TED/BRUDE and TEAM WEAPON for digging my UNEARTHLY (and DEATH HOUSE). TEAMWEAPON...I have always loved the French PLANET OF THE APES and your NIGHTMARE is a fun poster. TED...love, love, love (and am terribly jealous about) your WOMEN OF THE PREHISTORIC PLANET poster. Oooooo bravo!

I had hoped for the cereal box suicide squad as a one sheet but I gave up and got the advance style.  The trek is bad ass, glad they made one without the bike.

Klownicle - is that a lightbox? It almost looks like a monitor, very sharp.

Yep!  23mm thin egde lit led frames, the backing provides great uniformity.  No loss of light, looks just like a full back lit array.

When I first glanced at the STB poster, the picture of the white faced nemesis reminded me a little bit of Darryl Hannah on the OS for The Clan of the Cave Bear:

Nice Revenant, Baseman! I've been looking for that one for a while now. I've got the Style C featuring Tom Hardy, but want to add that one as well... let me know if you stumble across another if you don't mind!
