Flip the Script
« on: May 30, 2016, 10:48:39 AM »
Has anyone ever seen this book "in the flesh"?
https://paddle8.com/work/various-artists/97909-flip-the-script
It's a collection of 50 artists doing their "take" on various movie posters.
When it was released (In 2006(?), I think just online and at the exhibition opening) it sold for $1250.  (I may be wrong about this).
Wondering if someone has actually touched it and can comment on the printing/binding etc...

A cool looking book, there Devin, with some unique poster interpretations.  thumbup

And with an edition run of only 500 copies. If that was the true selling price, I wonder how many copies actually sold?  :o

Hey Jeff,

It IS a cool book, unfortunately I never sprung for it due to other pieces of paper taking precedent. crying
Here's a link of the posters in action (scroll almost to the bottom) :)

Thanks for that link, Devin. Lots of cool events and shows listed on that site, too, it looks like.

And I think the way the posters were hung, at that angle, for the Flip the Script exhibition, was a really neat way to do it.  cool1
