Been a long time since I sat around waiting for a drop, but this one was worth it.

Best regards,

This is super nice Holiday. Very striking. If I had known about this I would have bought one...  The flippers are out of my price range...

Thanks. The flips were going for 500 within minutes of the sale.  Looks like there's a pile on ebay now. at 500 and above.
Best regards,

They were said to be soaking the "masks" in vinegar just in case they were gassed or pepper sprayed by the cops .. Im no chemist nor have any experience with this.. But apparently breathing vinegar fumes is better than being hit with pepper spray?

Nice Shep Holiday, I've only got one (the Led Zeppelin below) and never tried getting one at release, would love an original HPM tho!

fallenangel1 are they Mr Brainwash screen prints or lithographs?

Was going to post some of the art I've bought over the years but not sure where it should go!? Is this the section, or is it really for arty film poster screen prints?

I don't usually get down here, but I was given this last week.
It's blue, but the photo is't the best, and it's still in it's wrapper.
Anyone know anything about it?

It's more than a Hobby...

Haha, I forgot about this, well at least someone's replied....

The artist is Joe Freitas, and it's from 2001.....

To be honest I thought it was a photo, twiddled with, but turns out it's a sketch for want of a better word.

I wanted to throw out a kudos to an artist whom Dave turned me onto.  Remember the Goonies screening he mentioned.  Well the artist's name is Amy McAdams-Gonzales and I ordered two of her prints; a Goonies and Lolita.  She was awesome to deal with...  They aren't number runs and are in 11"X17" format, but they are just too good to pass up...  If you want to check out her store - https://www.etsy.com/people/AmyMcAdamsDesign

Nice prints Charlie! ;)

I was on Amys Facebook page and found this pic from a previous auction. I am going to have to send her an email and see if there are any of these laying around still! :)

LOL .. Sorry Charlie! ;) There is something I like about Amys work too.. I just uploaded some of her work to the EB database .. She has a bunch of other commercial jobs that shes done on her facebook page as well .. But I just prefer the movie posters for some odd reason :P

My wife and I purchased a David Bromley piece (called 'Charlotte') not so long ago, it now hangs in our informal lounge (with our pet canvases). My wife fell in love with it and that was the end of that, no chance to discuss it  :P that said, I do like it too.

Well done Vesna, 20,000 leagues is great and with added value!.

Silhouette, Silhouette, Silhouette....

Since when do we have formal lounges here anyways? Do you have a special one for your fancy cheese and wine nights each thursday?

Invite Maggie Beer over for some verjuice drizzled goats cheese tarts?

 :P

Ari, Ari, Ari...  ;)

Actually, Stephanie and I have wine and cheese every Friday night, we sit at the breakfast bar (the part of the kitchen bench with a place to stick our legs under), we do it because it is a good way to relax from the week that was. It goes back to the days of Friday nights drinks after work before drink driving etc etc. So now we do it at home, sometimes our neighbours drop by because they can walk home! Nothing special I can assure you, red and/or white white, some cheddar, crackers, bread stick a few other bits and pieces and that's about it.

As to the informal lounge name, I dunno what else to call it, it's the only name we can give it because 'laundry', 'kitchen' and 'garage' were already taken and we do have three lounges (the place where we have lounge suites) so we have to call them something so we know which one we are talking about!  ;D

In the UK we call it the "reception room"..this is typically a room where the host can suss out if I`m going to rip his Paramount poster off the wall or not....
