I recently was trying to think of Hollywood persons who have done the largest variety of jobs over the course of their careers and I stumbled upon one who seems has done everything from in front of the camera to behind the camera.

here is the variety of jobs the IMDB has for him

from dramas to westerns to horror & sci-fi.. every type of genre. It's hard to think of people who have done the variety of jobs, but it really brought up other questions.

seriously, how does a person who apparently makes nothing but bad (sometimes really really bad) movies continue to get work?
83 directorial jobs including 2 currently in production, 19 writing credits.. 10 acting credits..

all I know is that Alan Smithee must have a really good agent, or lots of juice in Hollywood!
