Ari... Killer haul. Love the 'Blood Beach.'

Mike... Wow. The NxNW & Breathless look amazing framed up. That 'Not of this Earth' has been on my list for a while, congrats on nabbing one!

A few of my pick-ups for the month so far...

Death Race 2000 (French affiche)... This one will be framed for sure. Head over heels for this artwork.

Platoon (East German)

Scareface (Aust. daybill)

Oh my STARS!!!!   Such beautiful, BEAUTIFUL posters so far this month!

Deke : Good to see that you've scored some more Mexican posters. Very nice.

AngelFlyover : Ditto that on the GATSBY posters. I don't think I've ever seen the set before. Good find.
n

Mike : Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner!  WOW! You scored some of my favorite posters posted so far this month. That BLACK SABBATH is stunning as is the NORTH BY NORTHWEST. And oooooo I want a NOT OF THIS EARTH. Bravo there, pal!  Love the rest too.

ARI : What a haul you've had there. Wow! Of yours, i dig the FAREWELL UNCLE TOM poster the most (maybe because I have most of the other titles you have--we do have similar tastes after all). I have the UNCLE TOM on dvd. i've just not gotten around to watching it. I may need tio very soon...

TEAMweapon : RODAN!!!  Awesomeness! I've not seen that one before---but I love me my giant monster posters and i just recently got the US RODAN so I really appreciate yours.

FilmArmada : Another splendid batch for you. DEATH RACE is my fave of the three. Wow!

Bravo to all who've shared so fall this month. Can't wait to see what comes next! CHEERS!

I like how the Berserker poster rips off the poster for Pink Floyd's The Wall. Great selection.

Quite the pointed image, too, on the Night Train To Terror poster. Too bad Cameron Mitchell's last name is misspelled - and on a US poster, no less.  Doh.gif

What happened to the 2nd "L"? Tho, maybe it's still on the train.  ;D

Have you been raiding my my poster boxes? Or maybe we have similar tastes. I have all of those same posters, Ari.  I wish I had gotten to see SILENT MADNESS in 3D in the theaters...but it didn't play here. And SAVAGE INTRUDER has always intrigued me. I want to see that as well. Gail Sondergaard is third billed. She was the original choice to play the Wicked Witch in THE WIZARD OF OZ, but deemed too glamorous for the part--and so it went to Margaret Hamilton instead.

Also, when the makeup team was asked to do Sondergaard up in a more ugly/witch type makeup (for another test), she then refused and didn't want to appear, looking so plain, haggard and "witchy" on screen. Thank god the part went to Hamilton.  thumbsup.gif
