Unknown Artist Signature

I have a French 1P with this artist's signature on it. It almost looks like "A Thiry" but Im not sure. I looked up that last name and found nothing, on Google, or other poster-related sites.

T, or anyone else....  any idea who this might be?

looks like Thin Lizzy. I didn't know the band did poster art.

I emailed and asked Dominique Besson about the signature.

He did confirm that it reads "A Thiry" but has no info on this artist.

That's an interesting and VERY stylized signature there, John. I like how the letters blend, one into the other.

It almost looks like it could be REM or REUL (but those are total guesses).

It looks like the art on the the SP OS is identical to that created by Howard Rogers for the US OS, with the imagery just made into a yellow monochrome.

I also wrote to Ed at LAMP.

He also said this signature was A. Thiry, but he also had no info on the artist.

The hunting will continue.
