Thanks Jeff and T
The next two are really high on my favourites list of Gene items.
Firstly I have the original playbill from Mrs O'Brien Entertains which was Gene's second ever acting role on Broadway. For those who didn't know she starred in four Broadway plays before her film career took off. I have two of the Playbills (cannot locate the other at the moment which is called The Male Animal) however the third one called Ring Two is a Unicorn as there were only 7 showings before the play closed down so the print run would have been very small indeed. Her first role was in What a Life as a water carrier for which critics said she is the prettiest water carrier I've ever seen. She wasn't credited in this playbill though.
This Playbill means just as much to me as the Leave Her to Heaven one sheet.
Secondly I have this.....
It is a letter to Vincent Price from Gene. Some of you may know they were very good friends so when Vincent Price's daughter started selling off his estate I HAD to have this! The photo also came with the letter.
I absolutely adore this.
More to come soon.
