That is only part of the original Soyka art.  Here is the full monte.  US Style C 1sh.

Thanks a lot, Schan.

On the JP version, it looks like a "cut and paste" of the main critter.

Does the art look re-drawn to you, on the Japanese poster? There looks to be slight variations in the hair on the head, stripes on the hands etc.

I don't think it is.  I think its just a butchered cut and paste job (almost looks like it is cut from a photo of the poster), and effed up contrast that required them to correct certain areas.

Japan could have done better on this one...

Is that safe to say?

Just to add to the fun, a UK video poster. He seems to have been drinking though because his eyes are a little red on this one.

I like the fact that on the French poster, the critter has his foot raised and shows some movement. All the others we have shown, the little guy is just standing there.

For sure, and also I like the light which is largely better on this one.

The critter has "a glow" about him, on the FR poster.   ;D

Indeed! One of the things I really enjoy about collecting film posters is some of these subtle (and not so subtle) changes that often get made to the artwork. Being a completist in the area that I collect, it's always nice to spot something new.

Been sorting out a few things in my loft and came across this. I always new I had it but haven't seen it for many years...

I didn't measure it but I'd estimate that it's roughly life size  :)
