Im pretty new to collecting posters. I've been an avid cinephile for about 20 years and have always appreciated the art of film posters. I started collecting very recently and have been lurking for a while ever since I discovered this site. My plan is to also do some selling to help me support my collecting. As such, I have read the Restoration and "Amateur Linen Backing" threads with great interest. Currently, I am only collecting posters. Primarily silent, classic, international and arthouse of all sizes and all regions. As my collection expands, I hope to also expand into collecting other types of posters, which I find visually interesting. The only other things I have collected in the past are records (which I stopped about 10 years ago) and Blu-ray / DVD's which I still collect. I also have a good deal of experience in home theatre and audio. My love for film and music led me to build out a screening room in my home and that hobby consumed me for much of the past 8 years.

I'm looking forward to meeting some new people. This is a really great place!
