In one of the comments he says: In june, we'll release the definitive poster. By now we are using this "arty" version to represent the film graphically.

Oh bugger, thanks, I saw the standard poster and it is FUGLY. Ahh well, not important at all.

Agreed. The mask makes me think of Yeux sans visage. They could have pulled a better poster, no doubt. Instead of that, we got a mug of Banderas  eyeroll

I just got one of these -- the BFI release.
Mine is folded and will go nice with the original, alternate style (small Frenchie) I've been negotiating.

now THAT I have seen and love. I had one of these quads, also the small french, and still have the Grande. All superb.

I just happened to watch this movie a week ago. And that early idea would have been the poster (or something similar) to use. The art catches the eye, as opposed to the OS which was just boring, IMO:
