im not sure the music would be to my terrible taste though :)

i have a bunch of LP OSTs but only perhaps 1 or 2 7"s??? im not really sure as my records are in storage at the mo, and theres about 10K of them.
records just take up too much stinking room and weigh a ton if you need to move them all :'(
i am currently trying to whittle them down.
i dont think i have any special OSTs though?

I started because the sleeve designs can be great; it's sort of a natural branch of poster collecting in a way...or maybe I just have some sort of bad habit.

Post by: spazz on January 04, 2013, 11:23:17 PM: I'm not sure how this thread has alluded me, I'll have to dig up a list of what I have BUT a late Christmas gift just arrived & I am beyond stoked http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/cds/detail.cfm/CDID/447/Cleopatra-Jones-Cleopatra-Jones-and-the-Casino-of-Gold/ I just ran the entire 2 discs (2 hrs 15 min) of pure bliss. I'm not sure if this is OK to say but do folks around here trade OOP sound tracks?

i really should try to take more pix, i wouldnt hold your breath though as its taken me 6 months to do those!
i dont live with my records at the minute so its a bit tricky. i just dont have the space to :( haha

A least I can hear it, but to see it would have been amazing.
Obviously the music was extended, compared to the film soundtrack.
A number of friends went to both nights.

i guess i should also add i was heavily under the influence of a large cocktail of drugs.

Agree! I really love the artwork for High Society which I can't recall seeing anywhere else...

The problem was every time I went on it froze, I couldn't change pages or scan down. I kept having to log out and back in again, it wouldn't up load photos, it went on for a few months at which point I'd had enough.

This gets worse.. I went onto Picasa, which was working fine until Yvonne joined us up to google+ or chrome, and that site wouldn't recognise my computers code, and now I can't get on there either, such a chew. So I now am back on the Bucket, which is going fine for the moment..

To me, the film score, done by film music maestro, Henry Mancini, for Mommie Dearest (1981), is one of his finest, and may not be as well known, simply because the movie devolved, over the decades, into the "camp" genre.

But from the time I first saw the film, in the 1980s, the haunting score grabbed me and I truly love the score's themes and overall orchestration.

The score was never released, until La La Land Records remastered and released it, in 2012, with a limited run of only 2000 copies. I had no idea it had been released back then. By the time I looked it up online recently, it was listed for anywhere from $48.00-208.00 for a copy! faint2.gif

A few weeks ago, I hunted around and found a seller that was offering an unopened copy for $15.50. I went for it.

Needless to say, I'm happy to have gotten a copy of the score, after all these years. :D

No idea, tho, for sure.

But collectible price aside, I'm just happy to have the music.
