As a big fan of Stargate myself I was not surprised that the foil version sold out in about 2 hours but I was slightly amazed that within minutes there were three sellers marking these up on E-Pay by 2x-3x before they were even sold out. Just for fun I offered one of the sellers the original edition price. Their response was to counter lowering the asking price to $149.

Sometimes the "coming soon" on daybills means it was used for video. Often they are identical except for the distribution credits. The cinema posters are marked Roadshow Film Distributors and the video division will be Roadshow Entertainment. It's a good way to pick the difference on one sheets like Pulp Fiction etc as well.

I check them both and they both say "Roadshow Film Distributors"... Maybe they had so many left over they used them as video posters.

Definitely printed for cinema, but may have gone into vid stores. I'm not sure how long after it came out on vhs. I've picked up quads and all sorts of posters that were used in vid stores over here.
Is the coming soon a snipe or printed on?

Hate to tell you this but I had a mini. It was creased up so I turfed it out! :'(
