For anyone who wants to register on the forum:

Lately we have had a huge problem with spambots - up to 50 bot registrations a day. Too often real people are getting deleted along with the spambots because it takes too long to sort them out.  So, I have disabled site registration completely.  From this point until something changes with the bots, new registrations will be done by us manually.

Anyone who wants to register, send an email to apfholiday@gmail.com , letting me know what username you want.  I will register you with that name, and you will receive a welcome email asking you to confirm your registration and to set a password.  Sorry for the extra work, but you can thank the idiots with the spambots.

The new registration process is working much better.  100% efficacy - only humans, and no bots.  Life is good.

Hell yes I collect EVERY size...I'm looking at a rolled half sheet from Frank Capra's second feature length directorial effort..guess the film/image..lol...however lobbies are the most iconic remembrance of a film..the paper tends to be more stable, tougher, more plentiful, has a slower deterioration rate...I live in the tropics and collecting paper deserves a degree of concern..

2nd FEATURE length directorial effort would be a silent film ...yes..the advertising campaign created a nice half sheet!

Yes, Steve, it's pinned and the only one in that section so it's always at the top. Tho, new reminders make guests look to see what new comment might be posted there and then join. Hard to know, for sure, of course.

Not to mention any names, though I just saw two member names active on the site I hadn't seen before.  One last posted in 2017 and the other joined in January 2021 and has never posted. I know I'd sure enjoy seeing what posters they are collecting! How about a late summer North/late winter South too long gone (or never) poster post party!  Okie
