Hello,
my name is Piercarlo, I'm originally from Italy (near Venice), but right now I live in Bangkok, Thailand.
I have been collecting movie posters for about five years. I usually look for Italian movie posters from the 1940 to 1970 but I always end up buying whatever catches my eye.
Recently I have started to consider the idea of restoring the poster by myself. For now I have been working on research (the Pulpfixin thread is like in this forum has been incredibly helpful).
A couple of weeks ago, I found the attached poster in a street market. It is the Thai version of an Italian Spaghetti Western ("Dio perdona, io no").
Thanks for accepting me in the group
Piercarlo

Hi Piercarlo! Welcome to the forum!
That’s a nice poster, looking forward to seeing more of your collection if you decide to share.
I like Charlie’s Pulpfixin thread too. I’ve never tried restoration, but just found it a very interesting read.

Welcome, Piercarlo! I found the same poster you did in a Thai night market, too. I envy your time there. I really enjoyed living in Bangkok. Looking forward to seeing your collection and Thai poster discoveries! Okie

Welcome, Piercarlo. I also hope that you enjoy yourself here and that you share your poster collection with us. We are all curious about it and would love to see it. How fortunate for you that you get to live abroad. Score as many Thai posters as you can (especially the old horror stuff!) It's funny that you are an Italian (that lived near Venice) and are now living elsewhere. I have a Romanian friend who is now living near Venice. Ha! (Okay--NOT that funny, but...)
Enjoy the forum and again, welcome aboard.
CHEERS!
