Here are 2 of my latest acquisitions: a US OS for Son of Dracula (1943), and an Italian 1P for Vampire Lovers (1970). A good illustration of the evolution of the vampiric theme from classic Universal to the more overt eroticism of later Hammer productions.

Awesome and fantastic looking posters, both, Ben. clap clap
With this role, Chaney Jr played all 4 of the classic Uni monsters. (even if he was Count Alucard in this one). >:D

And Casaro's style and composition on The Vampire Lovers is just top notch.
Congrats on this win, too. It's a beaut!

Had this one up for years, its charm finally wearing thin:

So I paid retail for another oddish fun one, Wide Open Faces (1945rr US 1S SSF):

Here are a couple more new acquisitions, The Mummy's Curse OS (1944), and The Indestructible Man 3S (1956).
With The Mummy's Curse, I now have first release paper on all 6 classic Universal monsters franchises (Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Wolfman and the Creature from the Black Lagoon). Along with the RKO Val Lewton cycle and Hammer films, this is one of the subgroups within my collection that I've been focusing on lately. I like having a checklist of posters to acquire, it makes for a fun search and provides a nice feeling of satisfaction when a gap is filled.
I always liked the strong graphics on the 3-sheet for Indestructible Man, which I prefer to the one sheet, so I was happy to get my hands on this copy.

Chaney's green tinted face and blazing red eyes are simply mesmerizing on this 3 sheet, Ben.
Congrats, once again, on the pick-ups as well as filling more gaps in your UNI horror collection.

I agree, the colors are fantastic on the whole three sheet! I just noticed the art vignette on the bottom of the poster. I wonder who drew it?

Yep, IM terrific. Lowering the bar significantly:

Lowering the camera at a minimum. Still, it's a fantastic way to get a jump on a movies based on confidential prison sex reports collection.
Wouldn't recommend that one for the office poster rotation.

Ha, funny. Actually just bought for the funny title, didn’t even think about the tawdry upskirting. Nope that stays hidden in the poster pile forever.

Had this arrive yesterday.
A rolled, Spanish language US OS for The Lost Boys (1987)
What I really like about this is that the design incorporates the theme and main B/W photo from the US one sheet, (but on this, the photo is gently tinted, which is also a very nice, added touch, imo,) plus the art done for the Japanese poster, by artist, Akira Yokoyama. All in all, I think I like this style better than the US OS.
Missing (photo shopped out) from Yokoyama's design is Corey Haim's image. But perhaps Warner Bros was wanting to keep this Spanish version more in line with the US OS design and theme? On the US OS, Haim's B/W photo is there, but it's very small in size, & in the background, with the other vampire boys. The art dept should have put him in somewhere, tho.
And on top of it all, it's for a movie that I've always really liked and enjoyed.

I double agree with you, Jeff! I also really like this version better than the US OS, and this movie is great. I've always liked the embracing of comic books in this film as well. Okie

Had this one just arrive today.
A stone litho, French 1P for the French flicker, Le Bossu (1934), produced by Films Albatros.
In college, in a film appreciation class, the prof had screened the 1959 version and I really enjoyed it. But I had no idea that this earlier version was ever made until I came across the poster. Simple in its design, I like how only the main character was done in color, while the image of the soldier behind is just in a turquoise green.

This is kind of neat for a newer release, comic book feel.
