Title: Need help on a few posters i found in a vinyl record sleeve
Post by: guest4975 on August 16, 2017, 04:57:46 PM
Hello all,

I bought a lot of vinyl records recently and inside of the Herman's Hermits record, were 4 posters (not including the one of Herman).

I have scoured the internet and have found nothing.

I was wondering if you folks have an idea, or could point me in the right direction to learn more about them.

I am posting images of one of the posters.

Its the Beatles, roughly 23x14, and what is printed on the reverse.

The other posters are color Nancy Sinatra, b/w Ann Margret and b/w Sadiq Khan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First,  welcome1 to the forum and enjoy it.

I like how there are directions to remove the center fold crease:

"To remove the center crease, place a damp rag over the poster and press with a hot iron."  Doh.gif  ;D

Seems they are magazine/newspaper/fanzine giveaways or inserts

And with them asking fans who they would like to see next on a poster and to write them, Im with you on that fanzine idea, Chris.

Thanks for the responses.

I just didn't know if they were common, rare etc etc.

The paper seems pretty flimsy, so I'm sure not a lot survived.

If you look close, Sir Paul is holding a lit cigarette! Hahaha
