Hey everyone, new here and looking for some info. I work for a place that buys estates and things like that. Today I ran across some movie posters that I haven't seen before. Maybe someone can give me some info on them.
Doing some research tonight it appears that they are 30 x 40 posters. Unfortunately I didn't measure them as I found them late and I was getting ready to leave for the weekend. At first I though they were some type of one sheet as they are about the same size but they are on heavier stock and are rolled. I did a quick look at them and they have plate numbers on them with the movie name on the side border. On the bottom most have a mark like "litho USA". When I get back in on Monday I'll unroll a couple of them and actually measure them.
If they are 30 x 40's, is there much demand for them compared to one sheets?

The movie title, and condition, are more important than the poster format (30x40, 1 sheet, etc.). 30x40s usually do not command as high of a price as the one sheets. A good sales database is http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html (http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/archive.html) You can search for past sales of the title of the movie, then click the format, to see what each title in each format sells for.
If you could post some photos that would be great.

Thanks for the info. I'll get some pics next week and post them. I took such a quick look at them today that I don't even remember the titles.

Can't believe no one has mentioned that those are not Jumbo Window Cards, but rather Half Sheets (the 22 x 28s).

Mostly 1 sheets, and all are $10 posters. Must be, as I have a few of them.

Hankster, Jeff was just pointing out that you wrote and were asking for "options". I didn't know what you meant either, options to sell? to consign? to auction?

I was looking for feedback on what I had. If I IDed them correctly, desirability or any other information that might be useful. Yes, that might have even been an opinionated value if offered.
I read the FAQ before posting, if they were ready to sell I would have posted them in the Sell forum. Trying to sell something without knowing about what you have is only an invitation to be taken advantage of.
Maybe APF is more geared towards buying and selling and a post by a newb with posters is assumed that they are looking to sell them right away. If that was the impression I gave I am sorry.

Hank, when you said you were asking for options, I was just asking what you meant by that. Had you said opinions, I would have gotten it.
APF is geared for all, so no harm, no foul. I was just looking for clarification. :)
