Title: Seller - CLASSICFILMPOSTERS
Post by: Monster_A_GoGo on February 21, 2017, 04:48:50 PM
Anyone know anything about this seller, CLASSICFILMPOSTERS? I'm NOT saying he is someone to watch out for. I'm just curious and watching some of his items. It just seems he has an awful lot of rare, near mint, and/or unused posters in his stash. His reviews also appear to be from buyers who've purchased other of his rare, unused, and/or near mint posters, Kind of suspicious:

Hopefully he is reputable?

What exactly are you finding suspicious? That he has gotten all positive comments? Or that his buyers also are ones that buy his higher priced items? All his feedback comments, as a seller, sound genuine and look to come from satisfied customers.

Im just curious what triggered your possible concern.

It's just that EVERYTHING seems to be rare, unused, and/or near mint. It just seems strange to me that he can have such sought-after posters in those grades. I could be (and hope i am) way off base. Just wondering. I've been a little extra cautious after accidentally buying that GODZILLA film festival British quad poster that I did not realize was from tloce until too late. Never mind. i'm sure this guy is legit...

I always worry when the photos provided are not super sharp or when hovering over the photo it does not enlarge. Both of these are present for this seller.

Or when the posters are laid out on brown shag carpet and poorly lit from one side.  ;)

One thing to point out with the above - some browsers do not allow the zoom feature to work.
Google Chrome is the main culprit.
