hey crew...let me first get this out there I know little to nothing about old projectors (or new as far as that goes).
With that said, I have a large inset area within our family room that's around 3 feet deep, width around 3 feet wide, and 6 feet tall. per photo, picture a high wall with a large area cut out for nothing more then displaying art or some type of antiques.
Thinking about displaying an old projector to go with a film theme, including large film reels and 3-sheets on adjoining walls.

Several questions for those of you who may know...
(1) are there old film projectors I could purchase that would fill this area?
(2) would they be designed to have a nice look in terms of uniqueness that could be nicely displayed?
(3) what type of cost would be associated with owning one?
(4) would it be feasible to ship a large size projector that could cover this area?
(5) what else do I need to consider with searching for a projector this size?

yu can buy 16mm projectors as low as $25. check ebay
you want a big 35mm projector? something 5 foot or taller & weighing 1000 lbs? have fun with that

personally, I'd put a stripper pole & colored lights up there.
oh.. and a stripper!
>:D

An old camera on an old wood tripod would be cool up there. But yes the old projectors are very very heavy. Think local (hopefully) if you do go that route.

Yeah, I'm sure the stripper is there to give you some lessons as you've been spotted trying your best in a wig
