:P
So photos.
All my posters are in 3 inch tubes now and i spent so much time getting the Black Swans rolled perfect i didn't take photos.
I was rolling them up for an hour making sure there were no folds or creases. So i am not going to unroll them for a photograph, sorry. (I can post photos of the normal one sheet sets i have)
I take pictures of all the posters and i forget a few but normally i can just unroll, take photo and roll back up but not this time.
Yeah so i did buy the Dark Knight International one sheet below but i got a message soon after from the guy saying that it was sold already! I'm calling bulls**t on that one.

The photo of The Prestige is the seller photo as again i forgot to photograph it before i rolled it up. It's under the BS so no chance.
Serenity International one sheet which i think is much better than the U.S. Better by miles.
And a Sin City Alba just cause i like the image. Must have 5 of these now. Some are a little different though.
And these two a few months ago. More than that actually. 6 months.
Managed to get a rolled double sided Virgin Suicides UK Quad. Excellent condition. Again i just like the image. People always slag off Kirsten Dunst for her teeth but i think she's got a great smile. Just beautiful.
And Another Aliens UK Quad. Great condition as well. Can anyone guess what i paid for this single sided and rolled (I think straight away, after being folded) little gem?
So i think that's it. Can't remember when i last posted photos so there may be more. I know i got a huge french 'Springbreakers' poster. If i can be bothered i will dig it out and take a photo.
Cheers.

How do i unquote myself?
Shit i see it. I've quoted myself and now i can't unquote.

Are you actually insulting Miss Dunst?
Are you one of those people who slag her off?? Eh eh?
Cause I will not stand for that sir!
You have gone too far. 😤 And this ones for you......💩
Hi Rosa, that gif I just found off the web. I don't have photoshop installed at the moment and ive just now tried other tools on the web but gave up as too hard. If someone wants to give it a go, I created a girl with glasses gif you could use:

Too late, you missed Christmas by a few days
I started and completed a mini collection in one go.
I started and completed a mini collection in one go.
I only have seen one pof these films, But I loved it, and will track the rest down now.
But one of each of the 8 Jerry Cotton films, German A1's.
I will dedicate a wall to them .

Never heard of the series, but I like the visuals. I this kinda like the German Bond, with an American FBI agent? Cool posters. Instant re-release, or just 1,2,3,4,5... throughout the 60s?

Been eyeballing this one for years, the exchange rate, a wonderful discount by the seller, and some Christmas cash finally made it happen. A 1907 horizontal g-r-a-n-d-e for La Terroriste:

french 2000s RR which i have been looking for, for a while. BUT not sure if anyone else has one, but the print is SUPER soft focus. so much so it looks like a boot? im guessing it isn't though as the printer info for this RR is nice and sharp. the actual logo for the movie just looks like a blob of fudge to me?? if anyone else has one i would be interested to know if its the same as mine?
Sean, that Grapes of Wrath poster is fantastic

The Four Horsemen of Douchebaggery. We are like the 3 amigos except that instead of sombreros, we were cocks......and they are grande.

Good stuff, Sean! What is that poster with the castle, swans and pretty lady? Lovely art.
I believe what we are engaging in is technically jackassery 8)
as per usual, plodding along picking up.... well just stuff :)
also some other stuff i got in the recent past.

That artwork caught my eye also, Tob.
I believe it is a 1988 COO RR poster for The Wild Swans, a 1959 Soviet-animated version of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale about a princess whose brothers are turned into swans by their evil stepmother.
There is a dubbed version on Youtube:
Ever since I stumbled across it in a dictionary years ago, "jackassery" has become one of my favorite words. Became particularly appropriate in the internet age.

Grapes of Wrath is stunning, even beats the Thomas Hart Benton posters. Would love to have one.
Looks okay to me. What happened is that they re-released the movie, but it was a small re-release and they didn't take the time to photoshop what looks like an original set photograph. Who cares if it's out of focus, it's not meant for collectors and you get the point. Someone with more money would have probably made it look better, but it doesn't really matter for a 10 theater re-release.i guess i shouldnt moan about the beast poster, seeing as it cost 5 euros. but as i have had experience with design and printing, that kind of thing bugs me somewhat. given a couple of hours i could have easily made it look better!

Choko hasim guessing anyone that know me would know that my grapes of wrath is NOT and original, haha its a RR from 2000. and its a medium size. truth be told i only got it to make the P&P on my beaty & beast poster work out better. saying that its a lovely image!!
one (http://intemporel.com/en/posters/5399-grapes-of-wrath.html?search_query=raisins&results=2). It's on linen, though.

Thanks me too. Though the cicilia is intriguing.
Thanks for the education Ari, I thought I had watched all the Imanol Arias' films but never heard about this one... Gracias chico :P
Jollyfine start by everyone so far this month, wish I had something better to join in with.
I have just received this, only 80 produced, so pretty scarce.

Yes Simon it's a full size Quad. They were printed up to register sales, a sort of in house competition, hence there was only one per Cinema printed, total of 80 across the UK.
Cracking Chaplin there Jeff. As you say, the colours and the cane.
Paul, is that SW a quad?

Been a busy month for me, but it seems to be a slow month for acquisitions. You guys all make resolutions to not buy posters????? haha
Well, how about a Thai Red Sonja.
Such a nice poster, too bad I cant seem to get a tube in the mail in one piece anymore. Thankfully the design of the poster hides the repeating creases very well.
Bits and bobs

At lunchtime yesterday, I stopped into the little 2nd hand store not far from where I was working. Rolled up on another piece of furniture, I found this. It's a poster for the 1995 Festival du Film Policier de Cognac. I decided to snag it as they wanted a buck for it.
From wiki, I read that this was a film festival, held in Cognac, France from 1982-2007 and it focused on the police/crime genre of films. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival_du_Film_Policier_de_Cognac )
The festival had some really interesting posters made over those years, too.
The poster is drawn art. At first, I thought the bottom scene was a photo, but it isn't. It measures 19.75 x 27.5 inches.
The poster is also signed and dated. The name looks to be maybe HELKI (?) and is dated '94.

I got called out for double posting last time, thus the link (I remember these things, Ted :P).
Here's one that arrived somewhat recently:

Whew, I thought you were going to say outing an auction.
Which reminds me, there's this auction: The Prestige - Super Ultra RARE!!! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ)

I have never seen this movie (which is why I don't own the poster). Any good?

Taking some pictures, might as well through a couple up. The black and white neighborhood area of this posters works so well.
