And some small (12" x 12") posters from the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. I think they are pretty cool, particularly the first one pictured below:

That's a nice haul Deke. Reminds me, I have a few Spanish bull fighting posters.

This is likely from a calendar. But it's close enough to being a poster that it's suitable to post here. The artist (Camarena) did posters too, including a travel poster I posted in an earlier month's thread:

This is from a union conference:

And finally this two-part propaganda poster. It has seen better days, though note that it was originally printed on two sheets (it didn't just split in half):

Yet another WWII propaganda poster:

And who doesn't love a nice cold Tecate? Note the separate prices for the "Sunny Side" and "Shady Side" at the bullfight, which I find amusing. I deduced this poster is from 1958, as November 16 fell on a Sunday in that year. Further, the movie "Torero" starring Luis Procuna came out in 1956 (and he is noted as the "Star of Torero" on the poster).

Yep, you may not be able to make out the text in the photo, but it lists locations to buy tickets for the bullfight in:
* Yuma, Arizona
* Somerton, Arizona
* San Luis, Sonora (Mexico)
So this was made to advertise the Mexican bullfight, but (presumably) intended to be displayed to gringos in Southwest Arizona.

Thanks! Yeah, I think it's a cool image. I believe this is a "linocut", a variation of woodcut using cut sheets of linoleum:
