Yeah, Vick, it does. I can kind of see that in the large face image, too.

That's a tough one, Jason.
If Eddie Shannon (Film on Paper) and Bruce (emovieposter) don't know, I'm not sure who would.
Then again, that Paul Waines guy knows a thing or two about quad artists...
Howzaboutit Paul?

I've wondered about this for a long time. I've asked Sim Branaghan (author of the must-own British Film Posters book) in the past and he's also not certain either. It is, as far as I'm aware, artwork that's unique to the quad so it should be a British artist. We're just not sure which one!
Any ideas Mr Waines?
-
Ed what do you think about it possibly being Ron Felton?
-
I've never looked in this "Artists" section before, and I could fill this particular thread...
I have to say, I have no idea who did the artwork on Friday 13th Quad. Have you asked Bryan, Ed ? Maybe worth an ask.

Might as well leave this here with the off chance of someone knowing:

I've wanted to know for quite some time, it's such a great poster.

e, what is the title, in English?
It looks to have a mighty long Italian one. ;D
-
Ha, it's got an equally as long english one( i believe it's just the direct translation): "Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I have the Key"
Great title though, huh?

I'd say so... yessir!!
I looked on wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Your_Vice_Is_a_Locked_Room_and_Only_I_Have_the_Key) and it said:
"The film has been released under several alternate titles, including Gently Before She Dies, Eye of the Black Cat and Excite Me!."
I think the long title is the best!! >:D
-
Oh cool I never knew about those alternate titles, thanks for that. But yeah the long title is best ;D Man I love it when a movie is great, has a great title and a great poster.

Soft porn, tiny release, no money, unknown artist. Calm down and enjoy it.

Yup, its in the bin. I was hoping someone knew who the artist was. It is a bit of a cult classic from what I understand and not very common as I've yet to see another one. I guess just another nameless artist. Of course the version Jeff posted has its, er, strong points, too.

I dug and dug but couldn't come up with anything on that F13 quad. Real mystery.
Speaking of mysteries, I have my own I need help solving. The cover art for THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE VHS. This version was released by both Media and Video Treasures; I've included the Media release here. The Video Treasures art is identical, except it's completely flipped - Leatherface's saw is pointing the other direction and the signature on the artwork is clearly backwards.
Ah yes, the signature: any guesses? Looks to me like Nescry, Nescay, Hescry, Hescay. Can't figure out what the first letter is supposed to be.
Any tips are appreciated!

Hey CV,
Its a guy named Richard Hescox.
Here's a copy that sold, too, on EMP in 2006:

Lol now back to the Friday the 13 th quad.

Boy, do I feel like a dummy. Emovieposter is one of my go-tos when checking for artists; I must've totally glanced over that one!
Jeff, you're a hero - thanks.
And yes, back to that F13 quad...

Please do, Paul. We all love a challenge. sherlockholmes.gif
But can you please avoid, if possible, any more kitten pix? Otherwise, we will all need to chip in & buy more litter, as your cats are all over the forum. ;)

What with all the DARK TOWER news bouncing around today, a friend shared this poster on Twitter for a same-named oldie.
Anyone know who might've done the art? He thinks Larry Salk; my searching has turned up nothing.
Any help is appreciated!

I've wanted to know for quite some time, it's such a great poster.
I have the Locandina with the same artwork for this great film. If anyone is interested, Arrow put out a great Blu-ray a while back for this very loose adaptation of Poe's The Black Cat.
I would be interested in who did the art as well.
