Title: September 2015
Post by: DekeThornton on September 27, 2015, 01:55:00 AM
Another Mexican WWII propaganda poster "El Grito de Guerra". The exploding ship is the SS Potrero del Llano (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Potrero_del_Llano), a Mexican merchant ship that was torpedoed by a German U-boat in 1942, which contributed to Mexico's decision to join the Allied cause:

What a kickass image put out by SEGOB with no folds as well.  Nice poster, I was watching that one that whole way through...

I'm glad to see who the owner is (..or either super bitter, I haven't decided yet)  ;)

Wow, I'm surprised this poster attracted interest from another forum member! Do you happen to have any other Mexican WWII posters? I'd love to see photos if you do.
