OK somebody tells that "a friend who worked on the campaign for the film" said this was an "accidental print" and "all copies were destroyed besides a handful":

Well I know this is shocking and revolutionary but I simply - gasp - asked the seller whether it was a 27x40 DS.
Some of the smaller studios are selling official posters, like Drafthouse Films:

That issue has been debated occasionally. Most likely selling posters would not be sufficiently profitable. The studios also would have to negotiate with the actors shown and identified on the posters if they sold them for profit.

I checked out the A24Films site, and saw the "packing list" poster for sale: a24films.bigcartel.com/product/spring-breakers-packing-list-poster (http://a24films.bigcartel.com/product/spring-breakers-packing-list-poster) The description says it comes with a certificate of authenticity. I'm pretty sure what Spring Breakers LLC and A24Films mean when they say "authentic" is that they are licensed commercial posters, not original theatrical releases. Even if they're not originals theatrical releases, they still have cool concepts and art. 8)

The Key art looks more of a review style once seeing the above with the textual elements. (The end Quotes for Mark Olsen wouldn't pass)

Ok, so I just ordered both of these. The seller claims they are "official posters." If they turn out to be cheapy posters, not the end of the world.

Thanks Neo! I hadn't seen that store before. They have some one sheets up for 'Under the Skin' now too (no idea on if they're single sided reprints though).
Mel, thanks for taking the plunge with ordering those 2...curious to see what you get delivered! Hopefully they look nice. Would you mind posting back with findings please? I wouldn't mind a Wish You Were Here style for cheap.

Wow. For real for real? A guy actually sent me about a dozen emails asking me to sell my "wish you were here" one sheet, at a pretty darn high price. That's part of the fun with originals, as sometimes it's difficult to know if "these are difficult to find in any condition! A long time can go by..."

Thanks Mel. Yes, I reckon they must have limited quantities, so prob wise to get an UTS in case they sell out.

The UTS is being sold directly from the studio website.
Amazon are selling the 'Piano' and 'Wish You Were Here' styles. The A24 store Neo linked to (which is selling UTS and a few others) was selling this style - http://www.impawards.com/2013/spring_breakers_ver14.html - but it disappeared from their site over the last few days as I presume they sold out of them.

Heh heh, yep, it sure splits people. I like how it subverts (or exposes?) that culture to be so uncomfortable and seedy...a mix of satire and exploitation. One of my faves from that year.
