Title: Star Wars Advance Teaser B
Post by: Dread_Pirate_Mel on May 14, 2010, 12:00:59 PM
It's easy to spot these fakes because the GAU logo is missing.  Here's a current fraudulent sale on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/STAR-WARS-1977-ONE-SHEET-STYLE-B-TEASER-HIT-MOVIE-/320530342241).  To lend it authenticity, the seller misleadingly implies that Hollywood Poster Frames framed it.  It only sold him the frame (as confirmed by Susan):

This is one I've never bought, even though it was offered to me many times, because I've never been able to trust its authenticity.  I owned one with the Gau logo once, which turned out to be a reprint.  The Gau logo was not printed right, a little blurry, or something to that extent.  So I gave up.  I will probably never own it.
