Title: Problem posting images
Post by: kovacs01 on December 18, 2009, 08:23:17 AM
I get this message whenever I try to post an image..........

"The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator. "

The file I am trying to upload is just over 1MB.......smaller than the one I previously uploaded.

Should be fixed.  Inadvertently limited the folder to 200 meg rather than 2 gig.  Try now and let me know if there are any other problems.

I want to know whats the advantage of uploading over hotlinking?

Hotlinking will allow you to post images as large as you want.  The forum is limited in its capacity to handle large images.  Right now, being new, we haven't run up against capacity issues. But at some point, with image intensive posts like we have, either capacity will need to be increased or old photos will need to be deleted.  The more people who hotlink their images, the longer it will be before we face those issues.
