I have come across many examples of posters with misprints including names or words that have been misspelled including the withdrawn Tomorrow Never Dies James Bond British Quad where they added an extra "m" in the spelling of "Tommorrow". I would be interested to see if anyone has other examples.
Here is a great example of an error that slipped through the net - an extra "L" in Millionaires

This one's probably a little esoteric, but in this US WC for the first silent release (note the title is just "White Hell..., while the mid-30s sound re-release title is "The White Hell...", now that's even more esoteric, but I digress...).

Director and inventor of the "mountain movie" genre, Dr. Arnold Fanck is renamed for the US:

I suspect whoever created this window card might have been sampling the wares when this was printed, or maybe they were just feeling a little "sensative":

Heres a french one panel for WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS from 1968. Note how director Ishiro Honda's last name was misspelled as FONDA, in the lower left. :-\

The above mentioned Tomorrow Never Dies quad also referenced Raymond Benson, the author of the film tie-in novel, as Richard Benson.
Clearly they had their work cut out that morning.
-
They obviously were... poor old Pierce didn't even have time to have a proper shave before his photoshoot! But be thankful for the glory of photoshop on version two of the quad.
-
I think the shaven aspect of Pierce was that in the early days, he was considered so youthful that 'they' decided he should sport a bit of a shadow to toughen him up a bit - appearance-wise.
This was confirmed in the shooting with Teri Hatcher when she said had a real problem kissing the guy due to the pain of it all.
The unshaven bit was carried through to the poster but then it was decided against that for the marketing purposes.

I think I've posted this before. Arg 1sh for "Lady and the monster" (La dama y el monstruo)
They printed a wrong title "El alma y el monstruo" (translated as "The soul and the monster) and later added a snipe with the correct translation

Really a COOL poster, Matias..
and the Snipe matches pretty perfectly, too, color wise, for the most part.

Are you sure you've posted about that misprinting before?
Completely new news to me!

I didn't remember if I had posted that, and I am far too lazy to search it :)

I still blame the baby brain

Italian 2F for the 1943 film, Corregidor. The poster shows it starring Donalds Wood, rather than Donald Woods and the bigger mistake and printing error, is that Edgard G Ulner (Edgar G Ulmer) is credited as director. He was actually the screenwriter. The film was directed by William Nigh.

The trouble with these 'Lists' is that the compiler often makes the mistake of looking at artistic licence as a mistake.
The Snakes on a Plane example was clearly just licence, the effectiveness of which can certainly be debated. It is like similar lists that look at Continuity and cite examples of 'in real life this street is 14km from that shopping centre and so the hero couldn't get there in that time'. It's in the edit you [insert suitable word here].
The French poster for From Russia with Love cites Jonh Barry as the composer. That is a mistake.

+1.
Directors and editors choose locations and scenes for visual effects. Yeah, a few people know the difference, but in the end it doesn't matter for the flow of the movie.
A few I can think of offhand.
Bullitt car chase. That Charger lost like 12 wheel covers during the chase. Dents appeared and disappeared on the cars throughout. The director shot the same intersection from 4 different angles and used every one of them during the chase. It is still one of the best car chase scenes of all time.
Blues Brothers. It supposedly all took place in Chicago, but locations ranged from Northern Wisconsin to central Illinois. My favorite was near the end when they jumped a bridge located in downtown Milwaukee and landed in downtown Chicago. I know that Dodge Polara had a 400 CI engine, but 100 miles is a bit much. But the only folks who recognized this probably lived in Milwaukee where that bridge was infamous.
American Graffitti. Those cars jumped from Petaluma to Santa Rosa to Valejo to everywhere else in the Bay area just by turning a corner. Again, who cares.
How many movies shot in the midwest end up having a Los Angeles palm tree somewhere in the background.
Now the real goofs in my mind are where there is a desert island scene and an empty beer can is on the beach or you see an airplane flying in a period film.

A lot of people think that deserted islands, where there is little to no human activity, would have zero garbage and what not from people. However, depending on various oceanic and atmospheric conditions near an uninhabited and/or rarely visited island, there could be a whole lot more garbage than just a beer can.

You’ll go out there to this remote place and pull tons of this stuff off a reef; that’s like going to Antarctica and finding two tons of soda cans. Most people think places like the NWHI are a pristine environment since they are uninhabited by humans, but unfortunately they suffer from human impact.

Of course, on a thread dedicated to typos, one must always take the greatest of care not to commit one's own follies. Especially when looking at the plural of typo, which is just 'typos'. No apostrophes required.
To be sure, that gave me paws for thought...

Talk about mis-identification! :o
Who are those 2, anyhow?
(Just as a comparison to the real Ginger and Ruby, who are center and at the bottom. Una Merkel is the top of the totem pole.):
