Hi BigMike. Thanks for posting. Perhaps I can't see more up-to-date images on their Facebook page because I am not subscribed to their page? I found their website, https://www.backingtothefuture.com/ , and that is current. It lists services--but no mention of costs. Are they reasonable as well as good? THANKS

Backingtothefuture. He still backs mine. But his Facebook and instagram should be up to date. There were pictures and posts from this year recently.

Hey everyone. I am in need of some help. I don't like linen-backed posters, although I've ended up with quite a dew of them. Lately I find myself in NEED of a linen-backing service as I have discovered several posters had become damaged during my move. UGH! I am asking for help as this thread has not been updated in 2 years. The last service listed (and praised) was backingtothefuture...with a Facebook link attached. The Facebook account doesn't look to have been updated since 2017!
UGH! I need some things "fixed"--and so i guess I need them backed.  I'm looking for quality work on a limited at decent prices. Recommendations, PLEASE!

There are lots of you reading this who have never consigned to eMoviePoster.com, and if you have ever considered consigning, please go to https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign

At this page you read our "no fine print" simple explanation of how consigning works and exactly what we charge, which you WON'T find on any other major auctions' websites.

And also go to https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#absoluteproof for a clear explanation how we charge FAR lower fees than ANY other auction, at EVERY price level

This page explains WHY such a high percentage of collectors choose eMoviePoster.com over ANY other auction when it comes time to consign.

There are just TWO WEEKS AND THREE DAYS left in which to send consignments to our August Major Auction that starts 7/14! You must SEND your consignments no later than June 14th (we don't have to receive them by then).

We already have received many HUNDREDS of excellent consignments for this August Major Auction, which will run from 7/14 to 8/4! See just a few of them at https://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign_major#august2024

ALL of the ones at the above link are guaranteed to be in this special auction. As always, we most want items that are rare AND desirable, and we most want ones that we either have NEVER auctioned before, or only auctioned once or twice!

SOMETHING IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER ABOUT CONSIGNING TO OUR MAJOR AUCTIONS! While all linenbacked or paperbacked posters (except those in lesser condition, unless they are EXTREMELY desirable otherwise).

Those are fine for the major auctions, but NON-backed items need to be TRULY rare and desirable items that realistically sell for $300 each or more, or they make more sense for our "regular" auctions.

All of you have seen that our regular auctions now contain MORE AND MORE "better" items so please don't feel you are shortchanging your items by consigning them to our regular auctions instead of the major ones!

Look at our current Tuesday auctions at https://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/13.html for absolute proof of how many high quality items are included, ones that not too long ago would have been included in the Major Auctions!

I have seen time and time again that these deadlines have a way of slipping by for many consignors, and every major auction we get some anguished last minute emails from people asking for "more time" to send.

But that creates MAJOR headaches for us, so we will have to stick firmly to our deadline, so why not start assembling your consignments NOW, so this can't happen to you?

Starling: I do like that visible back framing example from Antiques Roadshow. I'll also probably keep the ad mats out of the frame to be able to look at them. Have you by chance framed a pressbook before?

Antoine: Have you framed your Bride of Frankenstein pressbook?  If so, how did you decide to frame it?

For those of us in the U.S., have a safe Memorial Day Holiday and remembrance, Okie

I haven't got around to frame my BoF pressbook yet, somehow I keep getting sidetracked with other projects.  I'll make sure to post a pic whenever I finally do it.

Make sure you share a photo when you get it framed up! Are you thinking of framing it so you can see the front and back of the cover (like the Antiques Roadshow pressbook)?

Hi Okie!
I THOUGHT you’d gotten it, but wasn’t sure. I’m glad I finally got it sent. I also apologize for all of the typos in the previous note. My stars. How appalling my typing can be. Oops! Cheers!
