Hi, I'm hoping to get some help on this poster I bought. It's in pretty bad condition but it spoke to me... Anyway I can't seem to find any info on it. I thought maybe it was for the 1932 Thrill of Youth movie but it doesn't seem to match up with the plot. Any ideas? Thanks!

Looks like a handpainted / created poster....
But the sherlocking will continue to figure out the flicker it was made for. sherlockholmes.gif

Guessing the "Coming Attractions" would be Jill in "Thrills of Youth" 1932 and Jean in "I have lived" 1933 ;)

correct.. mid-40s to mid 50s

What do you guys think its from then? Is it maybe a one off from a movie theater from the 40s or 50s showing movies from the 30s? The names do match the leading female roles of the two films from the 30s.

I wonder if this "updated" image of Jean, from I Have Lived, is based on the original publicity material used of her in 1933? Both images show a cigarette dangling from her lips. Tho she is blonde on the original material.

Noted Mid-West roadshow exploiteer, Albert Dezel, was screening these together in 1946. That's probably when this is from.

Wow based on that all three images appear to be of Jean from "I Have Lived" including the one where she is leaning up against the streetlamp except in the material from 1933 she is leaning up against a man. Pretty cool. Thanks all!
